Growing In Faith
Sunday School and Adult Bible Studies follow the same schedule. Each meet on Sundays 9:15 AM- 10:15 a.m., starting the week after Labor Day and continuing until the Sunday prior to Memorial Day. Confirmation meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. during the school year.
Children’s Church
Calvary is devoted to creating an environment where children have the opportunity to explore the truths of the Bible and nurture positive lifelong behaviors. Beginning at the age of three and continuing through fifth grade, each child will be provided the tools to express themselves creatively, develop a sense of belonging among their peers, and cultivate the foundations for a personal relationship with Christ.
Children’s Church is offered every Sunday during the worship service. Following the Children’s Sermon at worship, kids age 3 (If potty trained) through Grade 5 are dismissed for a time of learning and fun in the downstairs classrooms.
Confirmation
Calvary warmly extends the opportunity for adolescents to discover their personal journey in faith, and bolster their bonds to the community and those around them. Confirmation is where one develops a personal identity within the church and takes responsibility of their relationship with God. To this end, Confirmands will be guided through topics such as the Old and New Testaments, The Ten Commandments, The Creeds, The Lord’s Prayer, and The Sacraments. Throughout these teachings, moral and ethical values for decision making will be instilled, and will endure for life.
Confirmation is offered on Wednesday nights throughout the school year.
Adult Bible Study
The Bible has so much to teach that not even a lifetime may be enough to unpack and interpret its many messages. But as many hands make for light work, many minds create mutual understanding. For those committed to continuing their growth in faith without limitation, the adult Bible study is a place you can call home.
An adult class is offered each Sunday during the school year meeting the hour before worship at 9:15 AM. A men’s bible study is offered every Saturday morning year round from 7:00 to 8:00 AM. Two women’s studies are offered monthly during the school year meeting on the first Wednesday and the first Thursday of each month. Other studies are offered periodically.

Plan Your Visit
First time at Calvary? We’d love to have you, and we want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive.
When to come: Worship is Sunday at 10:30 AM (September through May) and 9:30 AM (June through August). The service lasts about an hour.
Parking: There’s plenty of parking in our lot, so you won’t have trouble finding a spot.
What to wear: Many of our members like to dress up for Sunday worship, but there’s no dress code. Come as you are, and you’ll be welcome.
Getting around: Our building is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ramp and an elevator.
When you arrive: Greeters will welcome you at the door, and at the top of the stairs an usher will hand you a bulletin with everything you need to follow along.. Feel free to sit wherever you’d like.
Bringing kids? Children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to Children’s Church during worship. After the children’s sermon, they head downstairs for a time of learning and fun. If you’d rather keep your little one close, a cry room is also available. During the school year, Sunday School for kids and Bible study for adults meet at 9:15 AM, before worship. All ages welcome!
Communion: We celebrate open Holy Communion on the last Sunday of each month, and all are welcome at the table.
